The Surrender Point by The Daily Love

This is such a great article I had to share.  It's always a pleasure receiving 'The Daily Love' Newsletters everyday.  Please sign up..
Paz Amor Luz,
Tru Essencia Dance and Wellness, Inc.

The Surrender Point is the point at which we try and try and try and nothing we "do" seems to work. Maybe we get so impatient, so fed up, so frustrated that we just want to give up and/or let go. OR perhaps we have been in an addictive pattern and life has gotten so unmanageable that we don't know what to do.

The Surrender Point is a time in our lives when we get sick and tired of letting our ego and fears run the show; we don't know what to do and we just want to give up.

The Surrender Point isn't just a one-time thing; we can have many Surrender Point moments in a year even. But, I believe there is Grace in Surrender Point moments.

The Grace is this...

Compared to Uni-versal Wisdom, that is the wisdom of the higher order of The Uni-verse, our fears, insecurities and ego have small minded, unaligned agendas.

Unaligned? Yes, we cannot think two thoughts at once. We cannot simultaneously think a thought of love and a thought of fear. And as a wise man once said, "Love is what we're born with, fear is what we learn here."

So flow with me on this thought for a moment. When we let thoughts of fear dominate our lives, we step out of Love and are no longer in alignment with our Highest Potential. So, like a drop of water separated from the ocean, we separate unknowingly from the Love that sustains us. As a result, our lives, our passion and our hearts begin to become even more consumed with fear. This cycle continues until we hit a Surrender Point. We hit a Surrender Point because the pain of continuing in our fearful habit is finally worse than the pain of changing, facing ourselves and realigning with Love.

When we reach a Surrender Point, it should be celebrated. It means that we have finally let go of a lower and unaligned way of living and given in to a higher order of Life. The wisdom and value in the Surrender Point is that we SURRENDER our fear and ask to be filled and aligned with Love in that moment.

We step away from our past habits and addictions that have distracted ourselves from ourselves and instead decide to face our shadow. Not with fear, but with Love.

Surrender Points are painful in the moment, but in the long run we will see them as some of the greatest moments of our lives.

Are there any habits or addictions that you have that you want to give up? How much longer do you want to subtly suffer knowing that you are participating in an unhealthy and unloving habit?

How much more pain do you want to endure before you give it up?

Do you want The Uni-verse to bring you a Surrender Point, or can you walk away now?

I'm urging us to take a deep look at our lives and see what unhealthy and unloving habits, addictions and thoughts we can let go of. Not because it's so painful, but because we know that in doing so, we will liberate ourselves to live alongside a higher order of things.

As always, the action happens over on the BLOG; head on over there and leave a comment on my blog "Why it's awesome if you're ready to give up!" The TDL Community thrives in the comments and it's a GREAT place to get support!

Balance Your Energy Wellbeing

 Daily Breathing Techniques

~~~~~~~~~~
Our personal mission is to educate and inspire anyone who will listen and interested. If a person takes away one thing from something we say, or they use any of our services and are intrigued enough by a word or phrase to investigate it and make a change then we have done our part in the world.  Baby Steps are everything. Never minimize them. One small change leads to another and another and another. That is significant! And that is how happiness is achieved.
These ancient techniques have been passed down through our ancestors and helps to connect with the element Air, which is our healing life source.  Use your breath as your disinfectant to clean out the toxins that store in your body.  One of many things I have learned through working with personal training clients is we tend not to breath correctly or deep enough.  We have thousands of energy centers in our body and 7 main energy centers that run from the crown of our head to the base of our spine.  Each energy center requires all the Elements to survive; Air, Water, Fire, Earth, Spirit.  When one or more of these energy centers are not balanced or closed off we shut down that energy center and it's functions in our life.
There are many modalities and techniques available to help restore, charge and balance your energy centers.  Below are a few Tru Essencia uses to create wellbeing, grounding, centering, healing, focus and connection with our higher source, spirit.
Also, these techniques can be done anytime, anywhere and especially during your Stillness Time, which is accomplished through practice, time, patiencia y fey.  Patience and Faith.
Everything is Energy. What we see and don't see effects us.  What we do, say and think effects us on every level. Real change starts with YOU. You want the world to change but refuse to do the work yourself.  Be the change you want to see and watch your world expand.  Are you Ready for the Challenge?
Technique #1:  10 Second Breath
Can be done anywhere and at anytime; sitting or standing; walking etc..  Do this as many times as necessary; minimum 3 times to help create grounding, focus, clear thinking, helps with nausea, dizziness, vertigo, anxiety and much more as well.
Tip: Place one hand on your chest and the other on your stomach as a guide to make sure your breathing deep into your diaphragm and not shallow breathing into the chest.  If you are still do this with your eyes closed with no distractions.  If you find yourself yawning you are not breathing deep enough.  A yawn is an alert from your body that it requires more oxygen/air.
Take a 10 second Inhale through your nose; enough to see and feel the hand on your stomach rising; then your chest rising till you can not take it anymore air.
Take a 10 second Exhale through your mouth; enough to see and feel your chest release your breath; then your stomach till you have no more space for air.
On the Inhale Take In and Visualize the life you want to create filled with light, love, abundance, light and happiness.
On the Exhale Release what no longer serves you; any body aches, pains, wounds, energy that is trapped in your body, thoughts, emotions, people, place or thing.
Technique #2:  STOP
For those moments when you know your emotions are high, stress is evident and irrational thinking is occurring.  Maybe a disagreement at work or at home with the family or your commute home and you are comforted with a disgruntled commuter on the streets, subway, bus or aggressive driver.  You fear you may say the wrong thing or think destructively.  I urge you to remember to STOP!
Stop
Take 3 Deep Cleansing Breaths
Observe the Situation with an Open Heart, Mind and Spirit
Proceed with Words and Actions of Love, Kindness, Peace and Compassion
Before you talk, listen. Before you react, think. Before you criticize, wait. Before you pray, forgive. Before you quit, try...
 Tip:  Tru Essencia invites you to..
When You STOP this would be a great time for Journaling the experiences.
Ask yourself..
What am I feeling right now?
Identify and Acknowledge the Emotions. Do not criticize or judge yourself
or ignore the emotions because they will surely be triggered again and again.
Be as specific and honest as possible.
Ask Yourself..
Where is this feeling coming from?
Identify the Source of the feeling, not the trigger of the emotion.
For example, if your spouse triggers your anger, guilt, disappointment, frustrations, fears, insecurities from an action or words that he/she did to caused your effect.  Your anger stems from a source other than his/her action; maybe from childhood or maybe from a past life trauma that was not healed.  Once that is addressed you can do your healing work on that trauma.  It’s there but you must do the work instead of burying it so deep that you forget it’s there until its triggered again.  It will not just go away without your acknowledgment.
Bodega Dreams Chapter 6: Chicken Littles by WandeePOP
Alright party people now here is a little story to help you further understand where we come from. Does anyone remember when Kentucky Fried Chicken sold Chicken Little sandwiches it was in the late 1980's to early 90's? These little half size sandwiches were sold for 39 cents a piece; at the time they were the best sandwiches ever! At least that was my opinion at the time. They were perfect square shape in between the two little buns with a lot of mayonnaise to top it off. Good Eating for no Reason!!!!!!!
It was after school one Friday early evening in the middle of the fall, and the Unique Force (Just us girls) was together chilling, hanging, trying to figure out where to go and hang (really looking for a party to go to). We had a slight problem we where all hungry and know one wanted to go back home to eat. Cause we knew if we did that it meant we where staying in for the night. Our Mom's and Dad's would not allow that! Once you went upstairs it was a wrap party over.
So we opted to stay outside hungry... because we just found out someone was throwing a party on Bryant Ave in the South Bronx, and we all happened to be wearing brand new gear (clothing) and we were looking fresh! I remember like it was yesterday Millie suggested that we all put our money together to chip in for some Chicken Little sandwiches!
We all started to dig into our pockets to pullout whatever change we had.
Someone pulled out a $1, another person $2 dollar's, we continued to count until we came up with a little under $5 dollars. Sad but so very true between 5 of us were only able to come-up with that amount! We made our way to KFC to buy the Chicken Little sandwiches all we could afford to buy were 11 sandwiches, which we all equally divided.
We are now walking back to our block we noticed that someone was still chewing, how and why was it possible that she still had her two little sandwiches, when everyone else finished eating; now talking about how they're still a bit hungry.
We all looked at each other and then turned a looked at the person... and started laughing it was so funny how she did it... then became all embarrassed when we called her on it.
We were a crew and know one was upset with her... she was hungry! We all understood that and like a family, we didn't say anything other than, why you had to go and take the last piece of chicken. LOL
